GSA GRITS II

GSA GRITS II enables Federal agencies to realize significant savings off tariff rates for local telecommunication services.

To view the full details of the contract, feel free to visit the official GSA post on the topic.

GSA customers within Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee can obtain comprehensive voice, data, and video solutions through GRITS.

The GRITS contract is a local telecommunications solution, designed to deliver best value telecommunications services through competition. GSA currently supports over 2,000 federal agencies, covering 445 cities, within the Southeast Sunbelt Region.

The overall contract for the 10 years is worth 3 billion dollars. CTI is the only small business that has the full range of integrated solutions from voice and data products and services. The GRITS II contract has 30% small business and a 5% woman-owned goal — in which CTI is the only contractor with both qualifications.

Many of the end users will need to have a combination of cabling, video conferencing, VoIP, POTS, T1, cable and data services. These end users can either: (1) award each item separately and receive many different bills and services points of contact or (2) order all of the above with CTI. CTI is the only provider that will provide the “best” of all the LECS services integrated with CTI’s single source of services and billing. This allows agencies to get all of the services at discounted rates through our wholesale pricing agreements with the LECS, as well as, a single point of service support without giving up any “brand name” providers.

CTI wholesale pricing and servicing requirements with the LECs allowed us to compete in the GRITTS II contract with the above CLEC, ILEC that won the contract directly. CTI is a wholesaler for many of the LECs thus giving CTI a pricing advantage. Since we represent many of the LECs we can provide a complete solution to the end user. Many of the providers will only supply the services they offer and will not pick and choose from others to provide a complete solution.
